Launch of the Industrial Creation Program with Hokkaido University
In collaboration with Hokkaido University, we have launched an industrial creation program that connects advanced research with real-world industrial implementation.
Creating new value in environment, energy, and material transformation through plasma technology Technology Group
Confronting global environmental challenges directly by connecting decomposition, reforming, synthesis, equipment development, and commercialization into one continuous process that bridges research and real-world implementation.
With a full view from decomposition and inactivation to reforming, synthesis, equipment development, technical evaluation, and growth strategy, our group companies work together to advance practical social implementation.
Impact Group promotes research, development, and social implementation in the environmental field through plasma technology. We do not separate research, design, equipment development, evaluation, and business deployment, but aim to create value through an integrated end-to-end approach.
We focus not only on producing research outcomes, but on connecting them to equipment and systems that can actually be used in the field. We believe that sustainable progress in environmental technology requires core technologies, applied technologies, and implementation strategies to remain connected, not fragmented.
Within the group, each company takes on a distinct role, including R&D for decomposition and inactivation, commercialization of reforming and synthesis, and the development of equipment manufacturing and mass-production capabilities. These companies work together in close coordination.
By connecting research, engineering design, equipment development, and business development as one continuous flow, we shorten the path to implementation.
We design not only advanced technologies, but also evaluation frameworks, collaborative research structures, and plans for mass production and deployment to shape viable businesses.
The group’s core technologies are built around three pillars: decomposition and inactivation, reforming and synthesis, and equipment development with growth strategy. Each stands as an independent domain while creating value through close coordination with the others.
This domain focuses on treatment and suppression in real environments, targeting odors, VOCs, hazardous substances, microorganisms, and related challenges.
We develop technologies that use plasma and catalytic reactions to enable material transformation and high-value-added synthesis.
We move from technical evaluation and demonstration to deployment design and partner collaboration, with both social implementation and business growth in view.
Through collaboration with Hokkaido University, we are advancing initiatives that connect research with industrial implementation. By linking academic expertise with a business-oriented perspective, we aim to achieve both continuous research outcomes and practical use in society.
With PACT at the core, we are advancing technology development from a broad perspective that includes reforming, synthesis, technical evaluation, and growth strategy. We are also exploring specific application themes such as compact deodorization and VOC treatment systems, as well as ammonia-related technologies, along with other practical use cases.
Each company plays a different role while working together within one implementation strategy. By sharing responsibilities across research and development, reforming and synthesis, and manufacturing, the group delivers value as one coordinated whole.
In collaboration with Hokkaido University, we have launched an industrial creation program that connects advanced research with real-world industrial implementation.
PACT Co., Ltd. was established as the group’s core company responsible for reforming, synthesis, technical evaluation, and growth strategy, within “HX,” the Hokkaido University Food & Medical Innovation International Center.
We have launched the official website of Impact Group to provide an integrated overview of our business structure, technology domains, group companies, and latest updates. The site will continue to be updated in step with the progress of our research, development, and social implementation activities.
As I'mpact World Co., Ltd., Representative Director Yuji Hayashi was recognized for his outstanding contribution to environmentally sustainable chemistry through plasma-assisted catalytic technology, and received the 16th GSC Award – Small Business Award from the Japan Association for Chemical Innovation.
As I'mpact World Co., Ltd., the project was selected for a JICA feasibility study for Rwanda, and demonstration and commercialization studies were carried out with future international deployment in mind.
